"I wanted every family to taste what I grew up with"

Growing up in East Godavari, every meal was an experience. My mother's chicken pickle, my grandmother's raw mango recipe, the aroma of Guntur chillies roasting in sesame oil — these weren't just flavours, they were memories.

When I moved away from home, I realised how hard it was to find food that tasted like home. The pickles in stores were full of preservatives and artificial colours. Nothing came close to what I knew.

So I started making them myself. First for family, then for friends, then for their friends. That's how Ruchiqa was born — not as a business plan, but as a love letter to authentic South Indian cooking.
